On August 21, House of the Dragon premiered on HBO and HBO Max. House of the Dragon started many centuries before the Game of Thrones shows in the timeline, but surprisingly one character is alive during the prequel series. HBO’s House of the Dragon season episode 2 took place 200 years prior to Game of Thrones at the Great Council of 101 AC. This, which depends on the succession of the Iron Throne, House of the Dragon as it brings to life the fabled height of the House Targaryen family hereditary and their demolishing civil war often mentioned in Game of Thrones. Although none of the original figures straight away experienced the Dance of the Dragons.
The prequel series of Game of Thrones sees the territory under fully different political and societal conditions. In the house of the dragon episode 2 trailer, it is seen as the Targaryens will be at the height of their authority, and the White Walkers will not come back for another upcoming 150-200 years. But yet Dome won’t even be part of the Seven Kingdoms. As the Game of Thrones begins in 298 AC, the tales of the House of the Dragons Targaryen civil war had already been passed on to many generations before the birth of Daenerys Targaryen, Jon Snow, Tyrion Lannister, and even Maester Aemon. As the House of the Dragon is set way much before Game of Thrones time, one distinguished person was already alive.

For further plot, it seems like the war for the throne has just begun, but much like Game of Thrones, there is sure to be plenty of drama, death, and fight along the way to it. Prince Daemon may become the rogue prince of the story. So there will be more deaths in the upcoming episodes, but maybe no one significant figure will die. King Viserys will grow more ill and deteriorate his health as his back wound becomes worse. Princess Rhaenyra may be sharing The Song of Ice and Fire secretly with someone, maybe Lady Alicent.
